Wong is Wrong says Chief Scientist

Peter Hunt of the Weekly Times reports that Penny Wong is off the mark with claims of Murray-Darling drought being caused by Global Warming.
Of course Penny has a long record of outrageous claims that AGW is causing droughts, floods, bushfires - all with the silence of a compliant science lobby. It seems that some of that compliance has dried up on the drought claim.
AUSTRALIA'S top climate scientist has contradicted Federal Government claims the drought in the Murray Darling Basin is due to global warming.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change lead author, Prof Neville Nicholls, said the claim was not backed by science.

    Garrett could surely pee a Wong song with his dong in the snow about that one.

    It could well be a hit as the leading song from the stage version of King Kong starring Garret as you know who one and Wong as you know who two.
