A Salutary Tale - Beer Belly Saves Life

A British bartender was told by doctors that his paunch almost certainly saved his life during a knife attack.
Men , of course , have always instinctively realised the protective value of the corpulence but now when Herself remarks on it I can point out it's defensive properties. Regular trips to the pub  can now be justified as contributing to self-defence.
